Lately...

I've been busy. Good busy, and lousy busy. Good busy because i have had great times with family, but bad busy because of so many tests and school work. Blah. I just can't wait for it to be over so i can fully relax and blog more for goodness gracious! So here is what i wore this weekend. This marvelous weekend! ;)

Friday the 13th

Happy Friday the 13th (even though its now almost 1:30 am on saturday morning.) Anyway, we are just hanging out on the couch watching Insidious 2, which is not such a good movie, i say skip it, but we just got home from the bar down the street and we are TIRED. We just wanted to have something on the tv while we each do our thing. So here are some pics before i knock out! Good night!

I got my cartilage pierced! I was so, so scared and nervous but i went for it and i am so glad i did. I am utterly obsessed and in love with it. I want more! Maybe belly button next ;)

weekend outfits

Here is what i wore Friday, Saturday and today. Obviously i was in a black and white mood and i ended the weekend with a big pop of color. Do you think your mood affects what you wear? I definitely think so. You are telling the world who you are on that specific day without saying a word. I love it. Choose wisely and have fun with it!

Friday outfit: crop top (Marshalls), watch (Timex), belt, skirt, black stud bracelet, jacket (Forever 21), shoes (Nine West), purse (charming charlie, boutique in Bakersfield).

Saturday outfit: shirt (Aeropostale), pants (Forever 21),  shoes (Target)

Sunday outfit: shirt (clearance rack Target,only $3!), shorts (Charlotte Russe) , sandals (Wet Seal)

Ballerina

Today was a good day. We woke up late and made breakfast burritos and brewed fresh coffee, then we decided to take a trip to downtown Burbank. It's one of our favorite places because there is so much to choose from, whether you're in the mood for dinner, dessert or shopping ;) the mall is there too! My outfit was pretty edgy for me. I'm a little self conscious about showing too much skin but i figured if it were ever the time to do it, it would be now, now that i'm 20 something ;) I usually start with one piece and just work around it. It started with a peplum top and then i picked the shorts to go with it and to go over the top i chose these boots. Happy Sunday! I hope you have the greatest of weeks!

i had fun creating this makeup look so i thought i would share it. i used shapes eyebrow shadow in dark brown, better than sex mascara, old nyx mini palette (any golden bronze color will work), Revlon black cherry lipstick and Maybeline fit me foundation. i love the way the deep burgundy of the lips pairs with the golden eyeshadow. even though for some reason the color looks more like a red, it was more of a deep plum.
