Clothes, food and amor

It's Friday again! Crazy how the time flies. Although this was a shorter work week than usual it somehow felt longer, still a great week though. I have been really busy with school and work and R has been busy job searching and painting. So, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out. We recently went to go watch a band at the Echo and on the way there i pointed out a cozy looking Vietnamese place called Xoia and that's where we headed tonight. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was just as good! Definitely a must try. Anyway, this is what i wore. It was comfortable and cute. I was initially planning on wearing it with a summery hat but my hair was behaving so i let it shine ;) hope you like what i chose. happy weekend!

 The lighting was terrible in these pictures, but i tried to edit it as much as possible without making it look ridiculous. Dress- Forever 21, earrings and jewelry- Forever 21, shoes- Guess (from Marshalls).

Now the food! wowzers just how amazing does this look?! who even knew they sold tacos at a Vietnamese restaurant? i sure didn't. we also got a chicken salad, so yummy. I got a thai iced tea and R got a beer.

R's plate was a sandwich and shrimp chips. It was called Banh Mi.

this was my plate! usually i'm not big on soups but i decided to bite the bullet and go for it and i'm very happy i did. it had egg noodles, beef, lettuce, and bean sprouts and the best broth EVER.

 

and this was home <3 i love you R.  thank you for dinner.

I love...

Florals! I would definitely say it is my favorite print at the moment. I have been gravitating towards it and i don't mind one bit. It's sweet and timeless. And paired with something edgy creates a look of its own. I think that with floral print you can pair it with anything and it will look great. Okay, okay enough of my rambling about floral. Gorgeous floral shirt from Fashion Q (only $9.99, that's insane, so cheap), pants- Papaya (old), i can't remember where i got the wedges since they are so old! i wore them for my high school graduation, 5 yrs ago. I found a few options at DSW if you're interested in something similar. 

And i also love that it's a peplum shirt. Made me feel so girly and pairing it with edgy pants made it feel like my own. I had fun wearing this outfit! Had to go out with a bang, cause it's back to scrubs tomorrow. ;)

This weekend...

This holiday weekend has been so much fun! Outings with family are always great and this weekend was full of them. And the weekend is not even over yet! My aunt was visiting from El Salvador so we were out and about a lot. Here are a few pics with a few pictures of what i wore today too:)

what i wore today to go to a family get together. i felt like incorporating as much pink as possible, and so i did :) the outfit just seemed to fall into place.

Finally have the time to post new outfit pics! Been busy with school but here is what i wore on Sunday to run a couple of errands around the city with my honey. We have really been into Trader Joe's. They have some really delicious, healthy snacks. We also took a quick trip to target and ya know how it is whenever you go to Target, right? You go for one specific thing but end up walking out with at least two full bags!

Breezy

keeping cool has been hard to do these past few days which is why i figured a flowy dress would be perfect to wear. as soon as i got home yesterday from work i took off my scrubs and jumped into this bad boy. summer, im ready for ya!
