Take me back...

... even though i've never been there, to the 70's that is! I love that era! the fashion was like no other. there is an ease to it and a comfort to it. as if everything they did was effortless but still looked great! anyway, that is what inspired me today. take a look and enjoy!

i also should have done my make up a lot more dramatic, but i hardly had time since we were running late to church. i'm thinking a brown smoky eye and red lip or an orange or blue eyeshadow with nude glossy lips! 

my hair looks so long here. i kinda want to cut a few inches off, what do you think? and it's so temperamental sometimes it looks lighter than it is and vice-versa. but i'm loving the color!

Casual

Happy Saturday! here are just a quick outfit pictures. i love fashion and sometimes i'm willing to sacrifice comfort for the love of all things pretty, but... not today! I've had this sweater for a few months and it's my first time wearing it. i originally bought it to pair with a burgundy pleather mini skirt but decided to take a more comfortable route. so here is what i came up with! hope you like it!

Happy Easter & Happy birthday mama!

Spent the end of the weekend perfectly, celebrating Easter and my moms birthday with loved ones. Happy birthday mami we love you! My outfit was really comfortable and perfect for the occasion. It's getting warmer and im so excited to style new outfits, i've already started shopping ;) Hope you had a great weekend and hope you have an even better week!

Happy today. I'm trying my hardest to be happy everyday because it's easier to decide to be happy than try to come back from a crappy mood. It's a choice. Have a blessed week my friends!

Its Friday, Friday!

Such a long week. I started my new job and the week flew by. Its crazy how fast time flies by when you get older and you don't even realize until the whole week has gone by and you have a minute to sit down and unwind. We started the weekend off right by making a trip to the theater, yay! We watched Transcendence, and wow it was great! i loved it, every minute of it. Later on we went to our favorite bar, Bar One. The mood of the bar is so mellow and the bartenders are so nice and it's just down the street! So this is what i wore and just a couple other pictures of the night. Lets have the best weekend yet!!!

Insightful/Happy gal

Happy Sunday! Today was an amazing day, such a good way to end the weekend. We woke up early and went to church. It was the second time we went to Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City and i'm glad we decided to go this Sunday in particular. The special guest was a Buddhist, his message was about giving without having any expectations and how to reach inner peace. You guys should check it out if your in town!  He also played a mean harmonica solo so that was a plus! ;) I like learning new things and experiencing things i never thought i would. Then we ran a couple of errands and my honey bought me some cute new items, yay!! I'm thinking about starting a youtube channel and posting hauls and just fun random videos... we'll see. So, here is what i wore! I loved this outfit! Relaxed, comfy, pretty and bright. Here's to a new week with infinite possibilities!!
