Back to the fuchsia

I had this dress stored in my closet for a couple months and today was the perfect day to bring it out. It's a knit dress but its not very warm, so pairing it with an infinity scarf was ideal. It hasn't been a cold winter here in Cali, but today was windy so this outfit was a perfect balance. I like keeping it simple so I paired it with black tights, black booties, and a bold lip by wet n' wild called back to the fuchsia, mega last, which I am obsessed with. At first I wasn't too into it because its extremely sticky and it made my lips look dry but I fixed it by applying chapstick beforehand and a clear lip gloss over it after. You should check them out at your nearest drug store :) inexpensive and great color payoff. It def. is megalast! Stays on lips for a long while. Happy Friday! xo.

Solvang, CA

It's always a good idea to get away from the hustle and bustle of L.A. That's exactly what we did this past weekend. We intended to leave early on Sunday but overslept, like always! Finally around 10 a.m. we made our way out the door. Once we got to Solvang we wandered into a cute little shop that sold little mementos and knick knacks. We then made our way to our favorite restaurant in Solvang, Red Viking Restaurant! I had a bratwurst and fries. R got a Reuben sandwich and coleslaw (he loves sharing a name with such a yummy sandwich haha.) And of course we had to enjoy wine tasting! It was such a great day and we can't wait to go back! Solvang, you have my heart. Our heart ;)
